Born in Mt. Vernon New York & raised in a humble yet strong Jamaican family, MikeLyrik has been writing songs for as long as he can remember.

From local talent shows, churches & special events to opening for major artists such as Lil Mama, Trey Songz, Styles P (among many others) MikeLyrik has acquired a BUZZ FACTOR that has been propelling him to heights unimagined by an, as yet, unsigned artist! His supporters have humbled & inspired him with immense enthusiasm @ his events and continue to grow in number as his journey continues!

The WINNER of the 2009 Underground Music Award for BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE, MikeLyrik's has enthralled audiences on stages across New York City, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Conneticut as well as internationally in Dubai, Hong Kong, Oman and the list goes on...

Mikelyrik's ecclectic POP/ SOUL stylings are a "life expression of individuality & togetherness through triumphs, defeats & everything in between"... The influences of dancehall, reggae, pop, R&B, gospel and rock can be found in various excerpts on his works!
